Yesterday, Saturday, February 2nd, Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, Arnold Dela Peña Garferia was ordained priest.
The theme of his ordination was “Called to serve the people of God”. Arnold was ordained by Archbishop Orlando B. Quevedo, OMI, DD Archbishop of Cotabato in Sto. Niño Parish Midsayap, Cotabato, his hometown at 10 am.
He was accompanied by his family, friends and Marists from the District of the Philippines.
Arnold, has been working as a deacon in the BURMESE MISSION in Ranong, Thailand. A mission of the Marist Asia primarily dedicated to the pastoral care of immigrants.
